Be patient to learn Patience

"Have patience with all things, but chiefly have patience with yourself. Do not lose courage in considering your own imperfections but instantly set about remedying them — every day begin the task anew." — St. Francis of Sales, 17th Century Bishop of Geneva
Are you an impatient person or do you want to be calmer when having to wait for something important?  Are you in a hurry to get what you want when you want it?  Does having to wait for your desires feel like you're surrendering to the whims of life?
"Patience is resting into the knowingness that at the right time, in the most perfect way, the most perfect outcome will manifest your hearts desires."  — Shafin de Zane
Being impatient is not totally a bad feeling, but it does seem to require patience to learn patience. Patience shows having faith that any and all situations will conclude as they are meant to.
"How poor are they that have not patience. What wound did ever heal but by degrees?"  — William Shakespeare, 1564-1616, English Poet/Dramatist/Playwright
When you start feeling stressed, anxious, or overwhelmed with waiting, step back from the situation to identify what the bigger picture can offer you. What is the reward for your persistence in waiting?  Do you need to reprioritize your goals, alter your perspective, or simply just stop trying to change something beyond your control.
"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven."  — King Solomon in the Christian Bible
It seems that the older a person gets, the more patience they have. The reason may be they've simply learned not to stress out as much about the little things!
"It is very strange that the years teach us patience, that the shorter our time, the greater our capacity for waiting." — Elizabeth Taylor, British Movie Actress
