Negative thoughts attract negative events because people don't process negatives well. Unfortunately, we tend to miss the "no" part & instead only hear the rest, thus creating a self-fulfilling prophecy by attracting the very thing we don't want.
However, we experience peace when we are in a state of mental calm and serenity, and a sense of happiness when we remember and appreciate our blessings.
So each person's reality then becomes a matter of perspective, that which we think most about, and learning to disconnect from worries and negative thoughts is the only course to peace, serenity, and happiness.
- It just takes some patience and practice to learn to be patience and how to let go of worries and concerns.
- Consciously choose — at least for today — that you will just leave alone all those disrupting details of your life which cannot be changed or controlled.
- Give yourself permission to experience peace, serenity, and happiness. Your worries will be there for you on another day.
The answers that you seek can be found by looking deep within yourself and listening to that small, quiet voice you may have ignored for years. If you can learn to hear, trust, and embrace the wisdom within yourself, you will be able to confidently navigate your life. Trusting your own inner knowing will help you avoid going against what you instinctively know is right for you.
