"Live as if you were to die tomorrow." Gandhi
The meaning of your life should never be about pushing harder or shouldering more burdens, but more about appreciating the beauty in the world around you and the richness of all the wonderful experiences life has to offer. Develop your spirit's sense of abundance by giving thanks each night for at least five things in your life to reprioritize your life.
"Who does not thank for little will not thank for much." Estonian proverb
Then make permanent changes or reach large goals that give your life more meaning by breaking up the process into small manageable steps of one hour (60 minute) increments. This can help overcome a tendency to procrastinate by shifting your focus to short-term tasks [that have long-term benefits]. Even though you are the master of your own existence, don't expect to make sweeping changes quickly. You have a maximum of 24 daily opportunities to make changes one hour at a time. An hour is very manageable but yet long enough to notice real progress.
"Often people attempt to live their lives backwards: they try to have more things, or more money, in order to do more of what they want so they will be happier. The way it actually works is the reverse. You must first be who you really are, then do what you love to do, in order to have what you want." Margaret Young
