Have you ever actually listened to what you say to yourself? Since your emotions constantly produce your self talk, you can change those words you hear at any given time by learning how to actually control your thoughts.
When you notice yourself thinking highly emotional and negative thoughts, take a few deep breaths, and imagine physically grabbing hold of your mind and turning it around in another direction.
If you change your perspective, viewpoint, and outlook, you will change your emotions, feelings, and attitudes. Practice controlling your mind often by focusing your thoughts on more positive and productive self talk.
